A Few Words About Us

Chicago schools offer English teaching services to ELs for the best daily use of their classes and to be assessed based on language proficiency.
Each school must have a bilingual advisory committee made up of parents of students who participate in the bilingual program.
Bilingual Advisory Committees (BACs) empower parents of English Learners (ELs) to participate in their student’s education and advocate for the academic, social, and cultural development of all ELs.
